PRLab at Boston University and BUPRSSA are proud to host our first-ever joint event: PRoActive. ProActive is tailored for PR students embarking on the job/internship journey. This FREE event will take place at the College of Communication, Boston University on Thursday, April 25th from 6-9pm. This 3-part event will consist of a panel with seasoned PR professionals/HR managers/recruiters, a one-on-one resume critique, and group mock interview workshops.

ROOM TO GROW
BUPRSSA volunteered at Room to Grow which is committed to supporting the fundamental needs of babies born into poverty during their first three years by supplying parents with education, support, and high-quality material items. There we cleaned their space and stored and organized products.

CRADLES TO CRAYONS
BUPRSSA volunteered at Cradles to Crayons which provides children living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive. When we volunteered we chose from the items provided to make bags for each individual child.

SAMARITANS
OF BOSTON
BUPRSSA volunteered at Samaritans of Boston's 21st Annual 5k Walk for Suicide Prevention. This event helps raise money for their efforts to to provide life-saving suicide prevention to those in Boston. There, we directed parking for the runner participating in the event.

At this Ethics & Eats, we discussed ethical dilemmas from The Office, Scandal, and many more. During this conversation we snacked on some burritos from Anna's Taqueria; can't solve the world's ethical problems on an empty stomach!
Where FYRE Festival Went Wrong

At this Ethics & Eats, we discussed the many ethical dilemmas from the infamous FYRE Festival. We discussed how it's never ethical to ignore your morals for a job. To help stomach all of the horrendous ethical issues of the FYRE Festival, we had some pizza from OTTO's!
