President

Gaby Torres (she/her, COM'25) is a sophomore studying Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. She grew up in Wellesley, MA, and has been a member of BU PRSSA since the Fall 2021 semester. She has previously served as financial coordinator and member of the Digital Media & Blog Team and the PR Advanced Conference Committee. She is also currently an account manager for PR Unleashed and an ambassador for The Women's Network at BU. Gaby hopes to gain communication experience in various industries ranging from hospitality to nonprofit. She loves playing soccer, traveling, trying new restaurants with friends, and watching investigative documentaries.

Vice President

Audrey Tumbarello (she/her, COM’24) is a junior studying Journalism with a minor in Public Relations. She grew up in Southern California and has been a proud member of BU PRSSA since her sophomore year. She has previously been the director of the blog writing team for BU PRSSA, as well as, a member for Unleashed PR. She is passionate about corporate communications, writing, and DEI. Outside of BU PRSSA, she is the Associate Lifestyle Editor for The Daily Free Press at BU, and is the Social Media/Business Manager for BU's Creative Writing Club. She loves to travel with her family and friends, and play with her two dogs back in California.

Programming Coordinator

Rachel Lin (she/her, COM & CAS’25) is a sophomore studying Public Relations and International Relations. She grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has been a member of PRSSA since her first semester at BU. On campus, she is a marketer for Charcoal Magazine and Migration Tales Nonprofit and performs with Verge Chinese Dance Club. Rachel hopes to explore the intersection of culture, communication, and technology by pursuing a path of international business PR. She can be caught going to live concerts, making jewelry, watching Studio Ghibli films, or traveling.

Financial Coordinator

Mia Chai (COM ’25) is a sophomore studying Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. She is from North Bethesda, Maryland and has been a proud member of BU PRSSA since her freshman year. As well as being financial coordinator, Mia is a member of BU PRSSA’s own Digital Media and Blog Team where she is a Founder and Co-Host of the PaPRazzi Podcast. Mia is also involved as the Content Coordinator for the COM Ambassadors program and as the Director of Funds for the Delta Gamma Sorority. You can find her drinking coffee, watching football, or playing with her dog, Blue!

Public Relations Coordinator

Giana Carrozza (COM '24) is a junior studying Public Relations from Norton, Massachusetts, about 45 minutes south of Boston. She has been involved with BU PRSSA since her sophomore year and she has loved every second of it. She has previously interned at the BU Department of Public Relations and Social Media and The Brooks Group Public Relations and she is currently an intern at Michele Marie PR. She's interested in pursuing a career in beauty PR. Outside of BU PRSSA, Giana loves to travel, try new restaurants, and pet all the dogs in Boston.

Conference Coordinator

Sue Kim (she/her, COM '25) is a sophomore at Boston University with a Public Relations major and Innovation & Entrepreneurship minor. This is her second year on the BU PRSSA E-Board. Having grown up in the Silicon Valley, she is passionate about integrating design and media with culture and technology. Outside academics, Sue enjoys reading Asian-American literature, watching coming-of-age films and journaling at local cafés! You can also find her admiring Impressionist art in museums.

Agency Director

Alexander Gertler (COM '24) is a Junior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Alexander has been a part of PRSSA and Unleashed since his freshman year and is thrilled to take on the position of Agency Director. He is especially intrigued by the intersection between entrepreneurship and innovation and public relations

and hopes to become an innovator in the communications field. Alexander has experience working in an agency as a Business Development Intern and is knowledgeable in media relations, crisis communications, and

corporate strategy. Originally from Los Angeles, Alexander enjoys playing soccer, skateboarding, and photography.

Member Services Coordinator

Sophia Sullivan (COM ’25) is a sophomore at Boston University with an Advertising major and Innovation & Entrepreneurship minor. This is her second semester being involved with BU PRSSA, and she is a member of Unleashed and leads the philanthropy team for the annual Conference Committee. She is passionate about the intersection between PR, marketing, and advertising and hopes to enter a creative field post graduation. Outside of school, she loves photography, trying new foods, and tennis.

Faculty Advisor

Professor Monique Kelley is an Associate Professor of the practice of strategic communications. She is a purpose-driven strategic communications professional with 20+ years of experience spanning across three sectors: corporate, agency and academia.

She found her own consultancy, Monique Kelley Consulting. Prior to that, Monique served on the Senior Leadership Team at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, overseeing internal and external communications for the U.S. Neuroscience Business Unit, Commercial Operations team and Chief Operations Officer. She infuses industry best practices and a customer-centric mindset from her time as a client experience leader (CXL) on the PR agency side with Weber Shandwick. During her agency career, Monique partnered with several global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that provide treatments for serious medical conditions in various categories. She is a proud BU and BU PRSSA E-Board alum.
