Madeline, or Maddie, Chase (she/her, CGS ‘20 - COM ‘22) is a senior studying Public Relations. She grew up in Highland Park Illinois, which is just north of Chicago, and she has been a member of BU PRSSA since her sophomore year. She has previously served as BU PRSSA’s member services coordinator and has interned as a social media intern at Lazarus. She also helps run the BU PRSSA TikTok account. Outside of BU PRSSA, Maddie loves playing ukulele and piano and playing video games. Her favorite video game is Portal 2. She also is always down for an escape room.

Gabrielle Aberson (she/her COM’23) is a junior studying Public Relations with a minor in Psychology. She is from Louisville, Kentucky and has previously served as programming coordinator for BU PRSSA since spring of her freshman year. She had previously interned at ProMazo and Rubenstein, and she has also been a coffee crew intern with BU Hillel. Outside of academics, Gabrielle loves to ski, run, and spend time with her friends.

Mei Lian Coble is a senior studying Public Relations from Bay Area, CA. She joined BU PRSSA in her sophomore year and has previously served on the BU PRSSA E-board as the PR Coordinator. She currently serves as the Programming Coordinator where she hopes to connect students with various industry professionals. Outside of BU PRSSA, Mei is an Account Supervisor for PR Lab and President of the Boston University International Adoptee Club. She has previous production experience and has interned at ID and fortyseven communications. In her free time, she loves to meet new people, play indie games, and catch up on the latest FTV.

Pamela Urchel (she/her, COM'22) is a senior studying Public Relations from the south suburbs of Chicago. She transferred to BU in Fall 2020 and joined BU PRSSA her second semester. Pamela is proud to be a part of a supportive and creative community. She's interested in event planning, higher education, and DEI. Outside of BU PRSSA, Pamela is involved in APO and IAC. One day she hopes to visit the Galápagos Islands.

Mavis Joy Manaloto (she/her, COM'22) is a senior studying Public Relations with a minor in Arts Leadership. She grew up in Northern VA and has been a proud member of BU PRSSA since her sophomore year. She has previously interned at ICON PR and StageSource, and is passionate about nonprofit communications, the performing arts, and DEI. Outside of BU PRSSA, Mavis is involved in COM DIRECT, WTBU, and BU Filipino Student Association. She loves exploring new places and learning about astrology.

Irene Alexakos (she/her, COM'22) is a senior studying Public Relations with a minor in Art History. She is originally from Chicago and has loved her time as an undergrad in Boston! In the past, she has interned with Coven Magazine and marlo marketing. She has also been a member of BU PRSSA since her sophomore year. Irene is very excited to put her passion for event planning to the test as this year's conference coordinator. Outside of BU PRSSA, Irene can be found producing shows for BU On Broadway, wandering through the MFA, or at her part-time job as a barista.

Caroline Floam (she/her, COM & CAS 2022) is a senior studying Public Relations and Political Science, on the pre-law track. She grew up in Bethesda, MD, and has been involved in BU PRSSA and Unleashed PR since her freshman year. She has held several internship positions at the intersection of politics and communications, including at Cornerstone Government Affairs, American Enterprise Institute, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. On campus, Caroline serves as the Director of Communications for the Boston Political Review and a member of her sorority's philanthropy committee. She is a tennis, Thai food, and national parks enthusiast.

Member Services Coordinator
Zeynep Cavusoglu (she/her, COM'22) is a senior majoring in Public Relations. She grew up moving all around New England and occasionally Turkey! Zeynep joined BU PRSSA her sophomore year, after transferring to BU. After making some amazing friends while attending meetings and helping with the conference last semester she is excited to be serving as the Member Services Coordinator this year! She has previously interned at Americares, a global healthcare non-profit, and the Ependymoma Research Foundation, a small non-profit focused on cancer research. Zeynep is passionate about communicating for a cause, which led her to internships in the non-profit sector. Outside of BU PRSSA, Zeynep is involved in WTBU, recreational soccer at BU and PRLab. She loves all things politics, funny TikToks, traveling to new places, and movie nights with friends.

Professor Stephen Quigley, APR, is an Associate Professor in COM where he has taught public relations and communications courses for 16 years. In 2011 Professor Quigley was presented with the Outstanding
Educator Award by the Public Relations Society of America. He is a former member of the National Commission on Public Relations Education, past president of the Boston Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and a past delegate to the National PRSA Assembly. He was the recipient of the 2010 Diane Davis Beacon Award for Lifetime Achievement, the 2009 Boston University Outstanding Student Advisor Award, the 2006 Publicity Club of New England Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2004 Lyndon Baines Johnson Student Advisor of the Year Award, and the 2004 COMSA Faculty Advisor of the Year Award. He’s the lucky husband of a beautiful wife and the proud father of three amazing children (including two BU grads!).
