Co-President
Yadira Cabrera (she/hers COM’24) is a Senior studying Public Relations. She grew up in Uptown Manhattan, NYC, and has been a proud member of BU PRSSA since Fall’21. She is passionate about entertainment PR, specifically in brands. She recently finished a semester at BULA where she interned for two PR agencies that focus on entertainment and lifestyle Outside of BU PRSSA, Yadira is involved in BU PRLab as co-president of client service, BU Production, and BU FitRec. She is also a student ambassador for Prime Student and Pentel. She loves watching romantic comedies, Criminal Minds, and taking naps.

Gaby Torres (she/her, QST’25) is a junior studying Marketing and Information Systems. She grew up in Wellesley, MA, and has been a member of BU PRSSA since her freshman year. She has previously served as financial coordinator and VP and participated in all three of the chapter’s subcommittees. Gaby has experience as a branding strategy and analytics extern for Beats by Dr. Dre and a Nonprofit Consulting extern with PwC through Paragon One. Her passions lie in marketing consultancy within the healthcare sector, DEI, and corporate social responsibility. Outside academics, she enjoys playing soccer, trying new restaurants with friends, and watching investigative documentaries.

Vice President
Passionate about strategic communication and creativity, Sue Kim (she/her, COM’24) is studying Public Relations and Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Boston University. In the future, she hopes to contribute to making products and services more accessible, inclusive and sustainable. Currently, Sue is interested in pursuing brand communications at entertainment or tech companies. Outside academics, she enjoys alternative rock music, independent films, and contemporary art.

Programming Coordinator
Giana Carrozza (COM '24) is a senior studying Public Relations from Norton, Massachusetts, about 45 minutes south of Boston. She has been involved with BU PRSSA since her sophomore year and she has loved every second of it. Most recently, she was an intern at Reebok and in the past she has interned at Michele Marie PR and the BU PR Department. Outside of BU PRSSA, Giana loves to travel, try new restaurants, and pet all the dogs in Boston.

Financial Coordinator
Madeleine Saltzman (she/her, CAS ‘25) is a junior studying international relations and public relations. She grew up in New Jersey and has been a member of BU PRSSA since fall of her sophomore year. On campus, she is involved in marketing for the BU International Affairs Association and the International Relations Review. She is also currently a marketing and social media intern for a venture capital startup. Outside of school, Madeleine likes exploring Boston, photography, traveling, and HBO shows.

Public Relations Coordinator
Bella Chiarieri (she/her, COM ‘26) is a sophomore studying Public Relations. She grew up in Glenview, Illinois and has been a member of BUPRSSA since the Fall 2022 semester. She is a member of the social media team for Unleashed PR and has worked on the Digital Media and Blog Team for BUPRSSA. She is also on the social media team for The Buzz Magazine and is on the executive board of the Music Business Club. Outside of academics and clubs, Bella likes to try new restaurants, sing, and design new clothes.

Conference Coordinator
Amanda is a senior major in Public Relations and International Relations. She’s from Shanghai, China and has been a member of PRSSA since her sophomore year. Previously, she was a team director at Unleashed PR and a member on the Conference Committee. She also had several internship experiences in PR and marketing. On campus, she's a COM ambassador and an Account Director at PRLab. After school, you can find her trying out great food, watching musicals, and biking.

Agency Director
Luiza Tavares Decenzi is a Boston University Honors College junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science Business Administration and a minor in in Public Relations. She currently works as a Marketing Strategy Associate for Midnight Brunch. Tavares Decenzi has first-hand experience working alongside clients as the Agency Director of Boston University’s student led PR firm, UnleashedPR and as the Creative Director of the Guerilla Marketing Society. Moreover, she has previously worked as a Marketing & Public Relations Intern at Purpose Worldwide and as a Communications Assistant for Boston University's Department of Computer Science. Her interests lie in marketing, social media communications, social responsibility campaigning, management, and design.

Member Services Coordinator
Aristea Angelakis (SAR’25) is a junior majoring in Health Science and minoring in Public Relations. This is her second year being involved in BU PRSSA, and she has previously served as the Media Relations Co-Director and as a Social Media Team Associate for Unleashed. She also serves as the Communications Assistant for Sargent College at BU, and as a research intern for Boston Children’s Hospital. Her interests lie in health communication and public health, and she is passionate in improving community health with communication.
DEI & Belonging Chair
Rachel Lin (she/her, COM & CAS’25) is a junior studying Public Relations and International Relations. She grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has been a member of PRSSA since her first semester at BU. Previously, she interned with 5WPR, BU’s PR Department. On campus, she is an Account Director at PRLab and performs with Verge Chinese Dance Club. Rachel hopes to explore the intersection of culture, communication, and technology by pursuing a path of international business PR. She can be caught going to live concerts, making jewelry, and watching Studio Ghibli films.
Faculty Advisor
Professor Monique Kelley is an Associate Professor of the practice of strategic communications. She is a purpose-driven strategic communications professional with 20+ years of experience spanning across three sectors: corporate, agency and academia. She found her own consultancy, Monique Kelley Consulting. Prior to that, Monique served on the Senior Leadership Team at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, overseeing internal and external communications for the U.S. Neuroscience Business Unit, Commercial Operations team and Chief Operations Officer. She infuses industry best practices and a customer-centric mindset from her time as a client experience leader (CXL) on the PR agency side with Weber Shandwick. During her agency career, Monique partnered with several global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that provide treatments for serious medical conditions in various categories. She is a proud BU and BU PRSSA E-Board alum.
